Fees

Our fees are inclusive of all meals and snacks, outings and visits, and all extra-curricular activities until your child is eligible for any of the early years funding entitlements.

Childcare Funding

New Funding Entitlements

From April 2024, the government are expanding the early years funding entitlements:

Parents can apply for their 15 hour funding code from 2 January 2024 via the Childcare choices website. Childcare choices is recommending to parents that they do not apply earlier than 3 months before the term in which they become eligible to avoid having to reconfirm their code prior to the relevant term starting.

The government funded hours are for 15 or 30 hours per week during term time only. However, as we are open all year round, we ‘stretch’ the funding to cover the weeks we are open. This means you access fewer hours each week but ensures consistent attendance throughout the year, which supports children to feel well settled. Over the year, you will still access the equivalent number of hours as attending for 15 or 30 hours per week for 38 weeks of the year.

All types of funding offered at the nursery are stretched in the same way.

Existing Early Years Funding Entitlements

Families of children receiving certain types of support ,and who are not eligible for the new working families 2 year old funding, may still be eligible for 15 hours funding from the term after their child turns 2.

Parents can check their eligibility and apply for this type of funding here. Please speak to the Head Teacher if you are eligible for this type of funding and/or you are unable to apply online as we will be able to support you with your application.

3 & 4 Year Old Funding:

All 3 and 4 year old children in England and Wales are eligible for 15 hours of funded childcare per week (during term time). This funding is known as the “Universal Entitlement” and eligibility automatically starts from the 1st January, the 1st April, or 1st September following a child’s 3rd birthday.

Eligible parents of 3 & 4 year olds may also be able to claim an additional 15 hours of funded childcare per week, which is known as the 30 Hours Funding or “Extended Entitlement”. At our nursery, this is also stretched to provide up to a maximum of 22.5 hours per week.

Your Funded Fees Explained

You can access 22.8 funded hours per week (1140 hours per year) or 11.4 funded hours per week (570 hours per year). These funded hours can be used in 5-hour or 10-hour sessions.
This allocation leaves an additional 2.8 hours (for 30-hour funding) or 1.4 hours (for 15-hour funding) each week. You may choose to include these remaining hours within your permanent booking pattern to best suit your child’s individual needs.
